Outside of work, she is very active in the community where she has also earned multiple awards for her service and giving back. Through her referral business she has been able to donate funds towards TKB Baseball non-profit organizations helping kids who otherwise could not afford to, play baseball. Having a son who plays baseball, she realized quickly that playing in travel ball is a big commitment for most families. It has been challenging but very rewarding to see the players happy and playing the game they love. She truly believes that TKB is doing what is best for the players and gives kids the opportunity to be who they are and to shine. To Julie, it’s not whether the kids go on to play baseball in college and beyond, she also sees the kids are gaining important life skills through the game and the TKB coaches, something they can take with them and apply in whatever career they choose.
